Dr Robert Boyd continues to be active! 2009 saw Dr Boyd completing the grueling London Marathon in just 4hrs16min. Slighty slower than his last attempt, but then again racers were tempted with food and wines in the last stages of the race - so who can blame them. He raised a whopping £1164 for ASF.
In 2008 he raised £1057 plus a further £298 from Gift Aid through his own website ‘Justgiving' which helps build social tools that make it easier for people to raise money for their favourite charities.
Dr Boyd did a sponsored walk in 2006 and in 2007 ran the London Marathon on behalf of African Scholars' Fund.
